1. My order isnt going through, why?
This is a problem which effects a couple of our customers, what you need to do in this situation is register first using the register button on the left hand side of the homepage "Login/Register". After you have done this you can then go to the checkout page by simply logging in, if that fails just drop us an email at sales@curveclothing.co.uk and we will try to resolve the issue.
2. I'm new, how do I order?
Welcome to Curve Clothing. All the items you can see on our website are available to buy on-line. Use the search options to find what you're after; just double click on the item and then select your size and quantity, then click on the 'add to cart' icon. From here you can go back to order lots more stuff or proceed to the checkout.
3. Why should I register?
When you register you can create a Wish List; this allows you to keep a list of items you might want to buy in the future if you can't afford them now. You can send your Wish List to friends and family at Christmas or your birthday as a subtle hint! But please remember, we cannot guarantee that these items will still be in stock when you come back to buy them later. Another benefit of being registered is that you can ask to be notified when your sizes comes back into stock and, perhaps best of all, we can look after you by keeping you up to date with your favourite brands and by sending offers especially tailored to you.
4. Cannot remember your password; don't panic!
If you forget your password click on 'Forgotten password?' and we will send you a new one. Passwords are not case sensitive. To make it easier, why not save the site address (www.curveclothing.co.uk) in your favourites and edit the name to include your password?
5. Are all on-line items in stock?
All the items on our websites are held in stock in our warehouse. If the size you want is not shown, it means we do not have it in stock, but if you are registered you can ask to be notified if it comes back into stock. We keep a close eye on what our customers want and do our best to get them back in stock as soon as possible.
6. How can I pay?
To pay for your order we accept in the UK:
- Debit/Credit Card Payment (VISA, SWITCH, SOLO, MAESTRO & AMERICAN EXPRESS)
- Paypal(Visa, Maestro, Delta, Solo, Electron)
- Cheque
For orders from the EU (except Denmark, see below) we accept payment by Credit and Debit cards.
To pay using your credit card, simply complete the details on the order form in 'payment details'.
You will be asked for your credit card number, its expiry date and the CCV number. The CCV number is for added security and is the 3 digit number found on the back of your credit card. Payments can only be made in GB Pounds Sterling.
For the rest of the World we can only accept orders on receipt of payment directly into our bank account (see below).
Simply complete the details on the order form in 'payment details'.

7. Why can't you accept credit card payment from Denmark?
We are unable to carry out the checks on Danish cards because of the Danish data protection laws which are different from other EC countries. We recommend that our Danish customers transfer money directly into our account (see below)
8. How do I pay from Denmark (or if I do not have a credit/debit card)?
Follow these instructions if you are placing an order from Denmark.
a) Forward your order confirmation email to sales@curveclothing.co.uk
b) We will check that we have all stock items to fulfil you order and confirm by return email, and will detail the additional cost of overseas delivery to enable you to make payment.
c) Please email advising your intent to pay and send payment to the account below detailing your order number as a reference, this is very important as it will enable us to identify your payment. The payment we receive must be after any transfer or bank charges you may have to pay.
d) Bank Details:
Address:
Account name:
Sort Code:
Account No.
Swift code:
IBAN:
Upon receipt of payment your order will be despatched and a confirmation email will be sent.
e) From receipt of your email confirming 'intent to pay' (clause 7.c ) we will hold the goods you have ordered for 10 working days to allow your payment to be received. After this period we cannot guarantee that goods will be available to send should your payment be delayed.
f) Any returns refund will be held as a credit against further orders.
If you have any questions concerning this procedure please email us at sales curveclothing.co.uk
9. Is it safe to order on-line?
When you arrive at the checkout, our system passes your order details via a 128bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypted secure page, where you complete your order by providing your credit card details. When you type your credit card and CCV number into the page, it is in secure mode. This means that your browser encodes what you type, and the server decodes it. Anyone 'listening' to traffic en route can make no sense of the number. Every trading web site uses the SSL encryption system and you can tell you are in secure mode when a little padlock icon appears at the bottom of the screen.
10. When will payment be taken?
Your payment will be debited when you place your order online. When you click on the 'submit order details' icon we will immediately contact your bank /card issuer for authorisation to take payment from your account. If your payment is authorised, you will receive an email straight away confirming your order and order details.
If payment is not authorised by your bank or card issuer due to the information you supplied when placing the order not matching that held by the bank or card issuer or for some other reason (which will not be disclosed to us), you will be contacted by email and asked to contact Curve Clothing to see if, and if so, where the information mismatch occurred. If you do not have sufficient funds in your account to cover the transaction you will receive an email telling you this. Please understand that we cannot always provide an explanation for your payment being declined by your bank or card issuer.
11. How much is post and packing?
Whatever the number of items you buy, there is only one charge for P&P.
a) UK: Special delivery, guaranteed next day £5.95
b) Europe: Air mail £12.00
12. When will I get my order?
a) UK: All orders received before 4pm on a weekday (Monday to Friday) will be delivered the following day before 1pm, as long as the card payment passes the necessary security checks and the next day is not a bank holiday.
b) Export - takes up to 3 working days for us to obtain clearance from your bank, (longer for Denmark) plus the relevant delivery time, which depends on where you are. Typically European Shipments take 7 working days.
13. I placed a UK order yesterday and haven't received anything yet?
If it is after 1pm and you have not received your order;
(i) Check the email address you supplied with the order - if we have any query or problem with the order we will have sent you an email to let you know
(ii) Check to see if a card has been left to say that delivery was attempted while you were out, or if someone else has signed for the parcel.
We can also let you have the shipment reference and you can check on the royalmail website for the wereabouts of the parcel.
In most cases we find that the Royal Mail will have attempted to deliver and taken the package back to the sorting office because no one was in. They should leave a card to say this, but they don't always do so.
14. Why can't you ship to an address other than where my credit card is registered?
Because of the nature of what we sell we can only ship to the cardholders registered address. We recognise that this can be inconvenient and that other internet traders do ship to alternate addresses, but we find that not doing this gives greater security against fraud both for you our customer and us. Also by minimising the risk of fraud it helps us to keep prices down.
15. What if I am not in to sign for the goods?
The parcel will be taken to the local sorting office and you can collect it from there (remember to take the card and appropriate identification), or you can ask the Royal Mail to deliver again at a suitable time for you. Alternatively, you can have an item delivered to your local post office for a 50p charge rather than having to pick it up from the sorting office.
16. What if the local sorting office is miles away?
We can always hold your order and ship it on a Friday so it comes Saturday morning - just email us sales@curveclothing.co.uk. Simpler still, place your order on a Friday.
17. Specific Delivery instructions:
We are unable to pass your specific delivery instructions on to the Royal Mail (eg "if no-one in, please leave in the shed") because there is no mechanism to do this, and they have to obtain a signature for the goods.
